TOPIC: Seniors having a lazy day

Seniors having a lazy day 1 year, 1 month ago #11070

As seniors we usually are very active most of the time. But today was so nice we decided to just take it easy and sit in our rocking chairs on our front porch. We had some neighbors over also and just enjoyed sitting around talking and taking in the sunshine.

I am not yet a senior, but there are days in which I don't feel like working or doing anything, either! Today, I visited a senior aunt and we spent most of the time sitting on their front porch and talking almost about anything under the sun.

How wonderful MildredParks. I look forward to the time that I can do that. I'm almost there but not quite. I think that's what being a senior is all about. Taking the time to slow down, enjoy the fruits of your labor and smell the roses.

That does sound like it was a very nice lazy "senior" day. Good for you. I think we all need to do something like that once in a while just to catch up with life.

I love the fact that the weather is warming up, allowing us to have lazy senior days. I like catching up with the neighbors or sitting by the pond fishing.
