As seniors we do like to travel when we can. We are kind of loners though when it comes to doing tours and like to go out on our own sometimes. What kind of travelers are you? Do you like to stay with the crowd or go out on your own?

Though it may be fun to be in a group, my senior aunt and couple prefer to travel on their own most of the time. They want to enjoy the place at their own pace.

We are seniors and do enjoy going on vacation on the tour buses to places but also like to go out and do our own thing whenever possible.

We also go on some of the senior trips from our travel club and they always have group tours. Sometimes we will go with the group and other times we like to get out on our own to explore.

I have been on a few trips with other seniors, but they often do things I just have no interest in like shopping, gambling and window shopping. I like to strike out on my own if I have a choice.

I enjoy doing either or a combination. When I'm traveling with others, I usually find a way to do something I enjoy that the other seniors in the group are doing. I do admit to slipping away to follow my own aspirations at times. Invariably, someone will want to come with me to see a new exhibit or shop for vintage fishing lures.
