I am preparing to retire, but don\'t know if I have enough money left in my retirement funds. How would I know if I have enough? I know I can\'t be 100% sure, but want to find a way to know whether my savings and investments will be enough. Any help? Suggestions?

My advice is for you to analyze your retirement lifestyle to know whether you have enough savings/money. It will help if you know where you want to live and what activities you want to do. It\'s tough to know whether you have sufficient savings because you won\'t know how many more years you\'ll leave. If you have passive income, like a rental place or something, that will definitely help. At least you\'ll still have money coming in after you decide to retire.

I want to retire so I can enjoy my remaining years with my family, especially with my grand kids, but I seriously do not think I have enough savings if I will continue my current lifestyle, though I have rental properties in Florida. I would love to travel to different countries to explore the world. I am thinking that probably, I can retire from my current job, since I am entitled to retirement benefits then find another part time job, which is less stressful than my current job.

I am retiring next year and very excited about it. Good thing I\'ve been very conservative with my investments. I\'m jealous though, wish I had rental properties as well. That will be a good source of additional income.

I am working part-time and I like it. It keeps me busy while adding money in my pocket.
