As I approach retirement, I do not want to come home and sit down. I have heard there are many opportunities to work from home and make a little extra income. Can anyone tell me where to go to find these?

I know retirees who do substitute teaching. Others work the polls at election time. Some fill in at retail stores during holidays. Others keep children in their home. Keep asking around and you're bound to find something that appeals to you.

I think there are sites which pay someone to write articles. If a senior is passionate about writing, he or she can check this out. I'm just not sure how much money one can make out of this. I also heard that there are data entry or home typing jobs which may be interesting to those who like being in front of the computer.

GPT sites can be a source of steady extra income, so long as a senior is willing to put in the effort they require and doesn't mind giving out their address. Starting a blog could also help.

I heard that there are sites which also pay individuals to participate in their surveys and answer questionnaires. Affiliate marketing is another type of online money-making job that seniors could try.

What about becoming an online tutor? I've heard of people doing that especially if they have a work background in education. If you have in-depth knowledge of a certain subject, it might be something to pursue.
