I\'m just curious about how easy or how difficult is it to adjust when moving to a senior community. I\'m planning my move sometime next year. I\'m sort of nervous about leaving my house, which I\'ve lived in for more than 30 years. Appreciate any feedback or advise from people who have gone through this.

The move wasn\'t hard at all. I was able to adjust to my new home easily. The people in this senior facility are all very nice, especially the caregivers. I like it here because they provide a lot of activities that are very enjoyable.

It\'s good to know that it was easy for you. I am actually looking for a community that provides a lot of activities so I don\'t get bored. I\'m in the process of looking for a nice senior community in our area. Thanks.

There are a lot of nice senior communities with lots of activities, programs and amenities. Watch out as these facilities can e very expensive. Be sure to ask about pricing before touring the facilities if you have a budget in mind. This will save you a lot of time. Ask your friends too for recommendations.

Moving to a senior care community is not an easy decision to make, especially after having spent 30 years of your life in one home, as one gets emotionally attached to the place. But to spend the last phase of your life, a senior care is recommended as you get proper care and get to stay with the people of your age group. Moreover, a lot of fun-filled activities take place there, which are entertaining and enjoyable. Your privacy is also respected there.
