I finally decided to sell my house and move to a retirement community. I am just too overwhelmed every time I see all the things I have to pack. I just don\'t know where to start.

I got lucky because someone is interested to buy my house.

Good for you. It\'s nice you were able to find a buyer with this kind of economy. My mom will be moving to a senior care facility. It really is very overwhelming to pack and to move to another place. I\'m actually helping my mom pack her things. Check your local listings for senior movers. It\'s good that they have movers that are trained specifically to help seniors move from their home to a senior care facility.

Good luck with the move. Ask you family and friends for help if they are available. That would definitely be a great help

I know. I got lucky because my friend from out of state is actually the one buying my house. I found this senior moving company online. Thanks for your advice. They are scheduled to come next week. I\'m not overwhelmed anymore because they will do all the packing for me. What a nice service.

Thanks,
Patricia

My aunt used a senior moving company and she was very happy. However, she said its sort of expensive. Make sure you get the pricing details before signing any contracts. You might want to talk to them for a possible discount, as well. Good luck with the move.

It\'s good to know that they have moving companies that specializes in helping seniors relocate. I\'m planning to move to a retirement community probably sometime next year. A lot of my friends already moved to senior communities and they like it there because there are a lot of fun activities.
