I\'ve been having chest pains for the past 2 days, although it last only for about 5 minutes. Is it something to be worried about? Is it a sign of heart attack? Can anyone help?

Sorry to hear about your chest pains. Here are some symptoms of heart attack:
1. Chest discomfort. The discomfort can feel like uncomfortable pressure, squeezing, fullness, or pain. 2. Shortness of breath. Often comes along with chest discomfort. 3. Breaking out in a cold sweat You can also read this article- Heart Attack Warning Signs. Hope this helps. www.ladolceliving.com/medical-conditions...k-warning-signs.html |

Chest pains can be experienced any time. You should not ignore it although chest pain doesn\'t always signal a heart attack. But just to be safe, call your doctor or go to the emergency room for evaluation.

I\'ve been reading about heart attacks lately as I\'ve been having chest pains as well. I want to share what I found out. You should be worried if you experience the following:
1. Pressure or tightness in your chest 2. Pain that radiates to your back, jaw, neck, shoulders, arms (especially your left arm) 3. Pain that goes away and comes back 4. shortness of breath 5. sweating 5. dizziness If you encounter any of these you should go to the emergency room right away or call 911 as it is related to cardiac problems and definitely warning sign of a heart attack. |

Might be stress-related. Consult your doctor. However, if you still have chest pains right now, it would be best to go to the emergency room for peace of mind. Better be safe than sorry.

Are you still having chest pains? Your chest pains may be due to stress. I say, schedule an appointment with your doctor so he/she can examine you. Hope it\'s nothing serious. Better safe than sorry.
