I\'m glad that the credit card bill has now been approved. This will definitely help and protect a lot of people from abusive credit card issuers. This bill will ban rate hikes. Therefore, credit card issuers will not be allowed to increase the rate unless there is a valid reason.

Seems like a good bill. But have to check the details to make sure that it will truly be beneficial to everyone. During this trying time, we need to make credit more available and less expensive to struggling individuals/families. Hopefully, this will prevent credit card companies from drastically increasing the interest rates and annual dues.
