Officials in Alaska have told Gov. Palin that she has to pay back taxes on the $17,000 per diem funds she received while living in her own home.

She better pay taxes for that since she actually received that money. What a life, she\'s getting paid for living in her own home, and getting reimbursement for food and other expenses for her family!?! I don\'t think this is right, especially during this hard times. We\'re in a recession, the government can no longer afford the lifestyles of these spoiled politicians.

$17,000 per diem?!? It shouldn\'t be legit because she\'s staying in her own home. She should not have qualified for it in the first place. That\'s a sweet deal. Getting per diem for living in her own home?!? Palin, you better pay taxes on this, its not fair. We\'re all paying correct taxes for all income received and you\'re not? Why didn\'t her accountant catch this error? Was it because they really did this on purpose so that she can pay less taxes?

Palin you should pay back taxes. It\'s already unfair for us Alaskans that you\'re using our tax money to pay for your housing and food expenses so do your fair share. I know that you are entitled to the per diem pay, but you should not take advantage of it. You should set a good example to Alaskan and stop trying to cheat on your taxes.
