I love cutting coupons from magazines and newspapers because I save a lot. One tip, though is don\'t cut coupons you don\'t really need because you\'ll end up buying it because of the discount. It might be a waste if you don\'t use it. You\'ll just end up spending money instead of saving.

Me too. I don\'t cut the coupons if I don\'t need it. I don\'t want to be tempted to buy unnecessary things. For example, Albertson\'s sends me $5 off coupon (with a minimum $50 purchase). They send me 4 coupons for the whole month. I only use 1 coupon because I don\'t need to go to the grocery that often. That\'s their way of tempting you to buy more of course. Think about this, if I use all 4 coupons that means that I have to spend $200 for the whole month. That\'s a lot for groceries! I don\'t need that much because I live alone anyway.

That\'s why don\'t cut the coupons if you don\'t need it. I agree with Sandy, this will just make you spend more than saving.
