We've noticed that hubby's aging mom seems to be showing signs of paranoia lately. She swears someone came into her house and stole her vacuum cleaner out of her closet, this was several weeks ago. Then the other day she found some dirty towels and sheets in her husbands bathroom closet in the back corner (he has been deceased over a year now) and now she thinks someone came in and took a shower while she was gone one day. Her house is always locked up tighter then Fort Knox. Could this possible be side effects from some of the medications she is taking or just part of aging, she is 89.

This might be something that you would want to talk to her doctor about and also check all the possible side effects for any medication she is taking. Some seniors will do this when they age and are now living alone.
